CABBAGE - HAMBURGER BAKE 
1 head cabbage
1 lg. ground beef
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. parsley flakes
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Slice cabbage; steam until wilted. Spoon into greased casserole. Brown ground beef lightly and pour over wilted cabbage. Make a white sauce by melting the 3 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons flour, salt, and pepper gradually stirring in the milk. Continue stirring until white sauce comes to a boil. Stir in parsley flakes; pour sauce over cabbage and ground beef. Melt 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in bread crumbs. Crumble over white sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
