CHOCOLATE CHIP PECAN BARS 
3/4 c. (1 1/2 stick) butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 c. melted butter
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (10 oz.) big chips, milk chocolate
1 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. brown sugar

Beat 3/4 cup butter until fluffy. Gradually beat 1/3 cup sugar. Mix in flour until crumbly. Press evenly into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Combine 1/2 cup melted butter, eggs, syrup, 1/3 cup sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in pecans and 1 cup chips. Pour over hot crust. Bake 35 minutes longer or until it is puffed. Cool and cut.
