“SHERRY'S BLACKBERRY CREAM PIE” IS IN:

SHERRY'S BLACKBERRY CREAM PIE 
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/3 cups light sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups blackberries
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, eggs, dairy sour cream and vanilla until smooth. Toss in blackberries and stir well. Spoon into pie shell.

Bake at 400°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.

PECAN TOPPING:

1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans
3 tbsp. butter, softened

In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, pecans and soft butter, mix well. Sprinkle over pie. Return pie to oven for 10 minutes.

Serve topped with whipped cream.

Oh My Gosh....best pie ever!!! Didn't have any Sour Cream so used Cottage Cheese...huge hit with the Hubby and Kids!

Scrumptious! I added about 3/4 cup of strawberries because I was short on the blackberries and that worked out fine. Like Joseph from Mass. I added more crumble to completely cover the pie. I would say that I had to bake it longer for a total of 45 minutes before adding the crumble.

wow, my good friend brought this last night to a party, WOW!!! so, is it better room temp or cold? I am thinking it can't get much better, holy cow, would have never made this if I hadn't eaten it, GREAT surprise of a pie!!!!
