GOURMET SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. round steak, 3/4 inch thick
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. oil
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms stems and pieces
1 c. liquid (from mushrooms adding water to make 1 c. liquid)
1/4 tsp. whole rosemary, crushed
1/4 tsp. whole marjoram, crushed
1/4 tsp. celery seed
2 med. onions, sliced

Mix together flour, salt and pepper. Pound seasoned flour into steak. Cut into serving pieces.

In skillet, brown meat in oil. Pour off fat, add drained mushrooms and onions. Combine liquid and seasonings. Pour over steak. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender. May also bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
