GOOD MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 c. uncooked oats (quick or old fashioned)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 egg, beaten
A little Accent, onion salt
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
(A sm. can of mushrooms adds taste to this)

Combine beef, oats, salt, pepper, onion, tomato sauce and egg; mix thoroughly. Pack firmly into an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. My oven takes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. (Any cream sauce is good with this loaf.)
