PIZZA ROLL-UPS | |
1 loaf freezer bread dough 1/4 c. tomato paste 1 tsp. garlic powder 4 oz. pepperoni 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese Any other pizza topping (mushrooms are great) Thaw bread dough 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Roll out to 9 x 12 inch. Spread with ingredients. Roll up like jelly roll. Brush with water and lightly salt. Let rise about 1 hour. Make shallow slashes at 2 inch intervals. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings. FREEZER BREAD DOUGH: 5 3/4 c. or 6 1/4 c. flour 2 pkg. yeast 2 c. milk 6 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 2 eggs Combine 2 1/2 cups flour and yeast. Heat milk, butter, sugar, and salt until warm. Add to dry ingredients. Beat at low speed 1/2 minute. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. Stir in remaining flour. Knead 6-8 minutes. Divide dough into thirds and freeze, not allowing loaves to touch each other. |
