PIEROGI CASSEROLE 
10-12 potatoes, boiled and mashed (instant okay)
3/4 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
2 sticks butter
2 onions, diced
1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked

Mash potatoes while noodles are cooking. Add cheese. Saute onions in butter until soft. Add 1/3 onions to potato mixture. Salt to taste. Butter a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Layer noodles, then potatoes. Repeat ending with noodles. Pour remaining butter and onions over all. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
