PINEAPPLE PRESERVE BARS 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. pineapple preserves
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans

FROSTING:

1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. pineapple preserves
1 tbsp. milk

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and preserves. Add dry ingredients and pecans; mix well. Spread in greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Cool slightly. Spread with frosting, cut into bars.

FROSTING: Blend ingredients together until smooth (tablespoon of milk may vary).
