MERINGUE PINEAPPLE BARS 
1 pkg. white cake mix
2 eggs, separated
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine cake mix, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Mix well and pat into a well greased 9x13 inch cake pan. Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar gradually. Fold in coconut and pineapple. Pour egg white mixture over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut into squares while warm.
