PINEAPPLE FUDGE BARS 
1 1/4 c. soft butter
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 c. pineapple tidbits, drained

Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs until very light. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon and add to butter mixture. When well blended, divide mixture in half adding chocolate and pecans to one half and pineapple to the other. Spread the chocolate-pecan dough in greased 9"x13" baking pan and top with with the pineapple dough, taking care not to mix the two. Bake for about 40 minutes in 350 degree oven until the pineapple dough is browned. Cool in pan before cutting. Makes 2 dozen bars.
