PERSIMMON PUDDING 
3 pts. persimmon pulp
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. sour milk with 1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in it
2 1/2 c. flour

Mix together the above ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

TOPPING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

Mix together, boil until thick syrup. Pour over cooked pudding. Return to oven, let syrup cook into pudding a few minutes.
