MEATLOAF, BARBECUE STYLE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 c. fresh bread crumbs 1 onion, finely chopped 1 egg 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunts tomato sauce 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. vinegar 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Mix together beef, onion, bread crumbs, beaten egg, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Form into loaf and put in shallow pan. Combine the rest of the sauce and all other ingredients. Pour over loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste occasionally. 4-6 servings. |
