COOKED SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage
2 lg. onions
1 can pimentos
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
Green or red pepper (if desired)

Grate cabbage; chop onions and pimento. Mix all in a large pan; let come to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and store in covered container in refrigerator. This is good as long as it lasts. Serve cold. DO NOT REHEAT.
