FILLED BISCUITS 
5 cooked, boned chicken breasts
3 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk

Make a cream white gravy and put cut-up chicken in it.

Mix all dry ingredients together, except soda which you add to buttermilk. Mix all together like you were making biscuits. Then divide dough into equal parts. Roll out as if you were making apple dumplings and fill with your favorite chicken bread dressing. Roll up like you are making apple dumplings and bake in greased pan until light brown, in 400 degree oven.

Before serving, cover dumplings with your creamed chicken. This is my mother's recipe.
