2 c. brown sugar (packed)
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. ground cardamom
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk or soured milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter, melted

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 12 cup bundt pan or loaf tins. Combine all ingredients, blend until well moistened, and beat at least 2 minutes. Pour mixture into pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees if bundt pan or 45 minutes in loaf pan.
