FRENCH COBBLER 
5 c. fresh fruit (apples, peaches or berries)
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour or tapioca

Mix and place in medium size Pyrex baking dish. Top with batter.

BATTER:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. butter

Crumble as for pie crust; then add 1 egg, slightly beaten, to crumble mix. Spoon over fruit filling. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
