HERSHEY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey chocolate syrup
1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs

Mix above ingredients well, pour into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 55 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and let cool before icing.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/3 c. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. white Karo syrup

Put above ingredients in a saucepan, bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool to lukewarm, then beat until ready to spread. Add 1 cup broken pecans and ice cake.
