GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 lbs. fresh green beans
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Combine 2 tablespoons butter and flour and cook gently. Remove from heat; stir in seasonings, onions and cream. Fold in beans. Place in shallow 2 quart casserole. Cover with cheese, then with crumbs, mixed with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
