1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. flour

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter

Cut in butter, flour and water (like for pie crust). Mix with fork or hands. Divide in half; pat dough with hands to 2 long strips, 12 x 3 inches. Have strips about 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Mix water and butter. Bring to a boil. Add 1 cup flour. Stir until it forms ball. Remove from heat and add 3 eggs, 1 at a time. Stir in 1 teaspoon almond flavoring. Spread this mixture over top of crust. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes.

Frost with 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons butter (melted) and 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond flavoring. Top with nuts. Cut into pie shaped triangles.
