MRS. EUNICE'S APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 Granny Apple, cut into eight wedges
1 can crescent rolls
1 cup of water
1 stick butter or less
3/4 cups sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon or use cinnamon sugar

Peel, core and cut apple into 8 wedges. Place one wedge on each triangle of crescent roll, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, roll up and place in 8 x 10 x 2 inch pyrex dish. Mix together water, butter and sugar, bring to boil stirring constantly. Pour over top of apple roll-ups. Sprinkle 1 tsp. cinnamon over top and bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Serves 6 to 8.
