SAUSAGE PUFF 
4 slices white bread
1 lb. pork sausage
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1 pt. (2 c.) half and half
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Dash of nutmeg

Put bread slices in bottom of 8 inch square baking dish. Brown sausage and drain. Stir mustard into meat, spoon evenly over bread. Sprinkle green onions and cheese over sausage. Mix eggs, half and half and seasonings together and pour over sausage and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. 6 servings. Makes a good breakfast or brunch casserole.
