LASAGNA 
1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. fennel
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (28 oz.) tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 egg, beaten
1 (16 oz.) Ricotta
1 tbsp. parsley
1 c. black olives
1 lb. Mozzarella
3/4 c. Parmesan

Prepare noodles. Cook beef or turkey; drain fat. Add onion and garlic; stir and cook 5 minutes. Add next 6 ingredients and simmer 20 minutes. Combine egg and Ricotta cheese, 1/3 noodles, 1/3 Mozzarella cheese, 1/3 sauce, 1/3 Ricotta cheese, black olives and Parmesan, layering. Repeat. When done layering, cover with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered 25 minutes longer. Cool for 10 minutes.
