BERRY-FRUIT MUFFINS 
2 c. flour, self rising
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1 stick butter
1 c. berries, mashed bananas or chopped apple

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 12 medium muffin cups or line with paper baking cups. Mix dry ingredients; add combined milk, egg, and melted butter, mixing just until moistened. Fill cups 3/4 full and bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 1 dozen.
