MARGERY'S CUSTARD 
2 1/2 c. milk
1 pkg. Knox gelatin
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated

Use 1/2 cup milk to mix with Knox gelatin. Heat remaining 2 cups milk in double-boiler. Beat 2 egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar and add to hot milk. Cool until thickened. Add gelatin mixture to hot mixture and cool. Add 2 beaten egg whites and flavor with vanilla or almond extract.
