1 c. flour
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar (DO NOT OMIT)
1 tbsp. cooking coil
Food coloring

In a heavy aluminum saucepan (an electric skillet can be used too) mix all dry ingredients. Add oil, water and food coloring. Cook 3 minutes or until mixture pulls away from sides of pan. Almost immediately, knead slightly. store in an air tight container. Will keep several weeks or longer. Do not eat.
