CRAB MEAT CASSEROLE 
1 lb. crab meat, or imitation salad style crab
1 (15 oz.) can artichoke hearts
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. half and half
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. sherry

TOPPING:

2 tbsp. crushed cereal crumbs
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Halve drained artichokes and place in bottom of greased 2 quart casserole or 9 inch square pan. Saute mushrooms in butter and season with salt and pepper. Place mushrooms on top of artichokes and cover with flaked or torn crab pieces. Make white sauce by melting butter (4 tablespoons) adding flour and stirring until smooth. Add half and half, milk, and salt and cook, stirring, over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Add sherry. Pour sauce over crab meat and cover with combined cereal and cheese. Bake at 450 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
