STUFFED FRENCH BREAD 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 cans chopped clams, drained
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
2 round loaves French bread
1/2 c. minced green onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Mix ingredients. Cut off the top of one of the loaves of bread - hollow out the bottom part and fill it with the cream cheese mixture. Put the lid back on and wrap the loaf in foil. Bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours. Cut the other loaf into dipping sized pieces and serve alongside.

Try decorating the loaf for the occasion... for example, at Christmas fasten a plaid ribbon to the top of the loaf to make it look like a present.
