1 box yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can of crushed pineapple
1 sm. box vanilla pudding
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 (16 oz.) whipped cream
1 c. pecans (or enough to sprinkle over the top of the cake
1 med.. bag coconut (optional)

Cook cake mix as directed on the box. After removing cake from the oven, prick holes in the top. Pour the pineapple on top of the cake while it's still hot. Pour the juice and everything over it. Sprinkle the coconut on top of the pineapple in layered form.

While the cake is cooking, fix the vanilla pudding. Add the cream cheese to pudding mixture. Beat together until smooth. Place this mixture on top of cake. Spoon whipped cream on top of pudding and cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle the pecans on top. Refrigerate before serving.
