OVEN PUFFED RICE TREATS 
1 box puffed rice
1 c. sugar
1 c. light Karo syrup
2 tbsp. white vinegar
Nuts or peanuts if desired

Boil sugar, Karo syrup and vinegar together, until it spins a thread or forms a soft ball in cold water. Heat puffed rice in oven or microwave. Add nuts or peanuts. Pour syrup over all and spread on 2 to 3 well buttered cookie sheets or form into balls. May cool on wax paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
