CARAMEL POPCORN 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup

Bring above ingredients to a boil for 5 minutes.

Add:

1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

To brown sugar mixture. Blend together and pour over popcorn. Mix well in a roasting pan. Bake in a 250 degree oven for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally from bottom of pan. Spread on wax paper to cool and store in an airtight container. Makes 5 to 6 quarts of popcorn (measure after popped).
