CHOCOLATE AMBROSIA DESSERT | |
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate 1/3 c. milk 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. powdered sugar 1 1/2 c. orange sections 1/4 c. coconut 6 slices of pound cake, 1/2 inch thick Melt chocolate with milk over low heat, stirring until smooth. Add cream cheese; stir until melted. Stir in vanilla. Gradually add sugar, mixing until well blended. Combine oranges and coconut; toss lightly. For each serving, cover one cake slice with 1/4 c. orange mixture; top with 2 Tbsp. sauce. To reheat, spoon sauce into saucepan; stir over low heat until thoroughly heated. Makes 6 servings. |
