1 c. light Karo syrup
1 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
6 c. Special "K" cereal

Mix syrup, sugar and butter to a boil. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and Special "K" cereal. Pat evenly and firmly in 9"x13" pan.

On top add 1 package M & M's and nuts (either or both) on top. (These are favorite "after school treats" with a glass of cold milk.)
