ROSELLA'S VERENIKE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. bacon, ham or sausage
10 oz. pkg. bow-tie noodles
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pt. sour cream
1 pt. cottage cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Fry meat, drain and add onion and saute until crisp. Add sour cream. Cook noodles and drain. Add cottage cheese to noodles, then combine all ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to oblong baking pan, cover with metal foil and bake for 1 hour. Let cool 10 minutes and serve.
