SAUCEPAN APPLESAUCE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. grated nutmeg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
4 tbsp. hot milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Heat applesauce in a saucepan and add butter, sugar and raisins. Take off burner and cool in the pot. Add spices, salt, flour and baking soda. Mix with a wooden spoon. Add nuts and turn into a greased 13"x9" pan. Bake 40 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Mix topping ingredients together and spread on cake as soon as it comes from oven. The topping will disappear into cake, making cake extra moist.
