ICE CREAM DESSERT 
70 Ritz crackers
1 stick butter
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream (softened)
1 8-oz. tub Cool Whip

Crush crackers. Mix crackers, butter and nuts well. Save 1 cup for topping. Press in 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix pudding and milk together; fold in the softened ice cream and mix well with mixer on low or medium. Pour over pan of crumbs and let stand at least 1 hour in refrigerator. Top with Cool Whip and remaining crumbs. Return to refrigerator until ready to serve.
