SOUTH FORK CHILI 
2 1/2 lbs. ground meat
2 c. chopped onions
1 green bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic
1-2 tbsp. crushed red pepper
3 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
2 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cans (1 lb. size) whole tomatoes
1 can (12 oz.) whole kernel corn (optional)
2 cans (1 lb. size) red kidney beans
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

Brown ground meat in large skillet. Pour off fat. Add onions, bell pepper, garlic, crushed red pepper, chili powder, cumin, oregano leaves and salt. Mix well. Cook, stirring until onions and bell peppers are tender. Add beans, tomatoes, corn and tomato sauce. Mix well, breaking up tomatoes with fork. Simmer slowly, covered, and stirring occasionally, about 45 minutes.
