APRICOT DESSERT 
1 lb. vanilla wafers, rolled
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 lg. tub Cool Whip
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. can drained and crushed apricots

Cook butter, powdered sugar and eggs until thick and cool. Crush vanilla wafers. Put half in 9x12 inch pan. Pour sauce over crumbs. Spread half of Cool Whip over sauce. Spread chopped nuts. Next, spread apricots, then rest of Cool Whip and finish with rest of vanilla wafer crumbs. Chill.
