LEMON MERINGUE PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. cornstarch 1 1/2 c. water 3 egg yolks 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 tbsp. butter 1 (9 inch) deep pie shell In a saucepan mix sugar, cornstarch, water and slightly beaten egg yolks. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat, then add lemon juice and butter, mix well. Pour into browned pie shell and top with meringue, then brown. |
