WAVERLY CRACKER LEMON TORTE 
CRUST:

42 single crushed wafers
1/2 c. butter

Mix and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Then make a meringue of: 1 c. sugar

Combine egg whites and sugar. Spread on crust and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes and cool.

FILLING:

1 can lemon pie filling
1 tbsp. lemon rind
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix and put on cooled meringue and crust, cover with Cool Whip and serve.
