GRANDMA'S MOLASSES CRINKLES | |
3/4 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 4 tbsp. "Grandma's" molasses 1/4 tsp. salt 2 1/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 c. pecans (I add this sometimes) Cream butter and sugar. Blend in egg and molasses. Add all dry ingredients. Mix well and set in freezer to chill 1 hour. Make into balls, size of walnuts and top with sugar. Pat with 1 finger dipped in water. Bake at 375 degrees. |
