ANGEL BISCUITS 
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. shortening (vegetable)
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add yeast mix and buttermilk. Mix together. Refrigerate and use as needed. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut biscuits. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
