ORANGE - PECAN LOAVES 
1 1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins or chopped dates
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. grated orange rind
1/4 c. melted butter
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

Combine orange juice, 2 cups sugar, pecans, raisins, eggs, orange rind and butter; mix well. Pour pecan mixture into dry ingredients and stir well. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in bread comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes; turn out on wire rack.

Combine 1/3 cup sugar and orange juice concentrate in a small saucepan; cook, stirring frequently, over low heat for 5 minutes. Brush loaves with glaze.
