EASY CHICKEN WITH ONIONS 
6 chicken breasts, deboned
12-16 tiny white onions, peeled or 1 jar sm. white onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/8 c. sherry (opt.)
1/4 lb. grated cheddar cheese
Salt to taste

Place chicken in a baking dish and add onions and salt. Mix soup and sherry, pour over chicken. Put mixture in refrigerator and let sit all night. Grate cheese over top and bake at 350 degrees, covered for 45 minutes, then 10 to 15 minutes uncovered. I have made this in the morning and baked that evening, if I didn't have time the night before.
