SWEET POTATO PUDDING 
4 c. grated sweet potatoes, raw
1/4 c. Karo syrup
4 eggs
1 c. chopped dates
3/4 c. raisins
2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. allspice

Cream sugar and butter, beat in eggs and milk; add remaining ingredients. Bake in a buttered casserole, at 300 degrees, 1 1/2 hours or until knife inserted comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream.
