CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE SUPREME | |
1 1/2 c. (16) crushed creme filled chocolate cookies 1/4 c. butter 3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese (softened) 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 3 eggs 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted 2 tsp. vanilla Combine crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9 inch springform pan. Combine cream cheese and milk, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Blend in chocolate and vanilla; pour over crust. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. TOPPING: 1/3 c. butter 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces 2 tbsp. orange flavor liqueur (optional) Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add chocolate and liqueur, mixing until well blended. Frost top of cheese cake and chill. Orange juice may be substituted for the orange liqueur. |
