APPLE-CRANBERRY CASSEROLE 
3 medium apples (unpeeled), sliced
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. raw cranberries
dash of salt

In a buttered casserole make 2 layers each apples and cranberries, sprinkling with sugar and salt. Add 1/4 cup water, if desired. Cover with topping.

Bake at 350°F until cooked through and lightly browned, 30 minutes or more.

Topping:

1 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
2/3 stick butter

Mix the oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and nuts. Place pats of butter on top of casserole.
