BACHELOR'S PATTY 
1 hamburger patty
Salt
Pepper
Onion slices
1 English muffin
Ketchup
Mustard
Mayonnaise
Lett uce
Relish
1 slice cheese

Remove hamburger patty from freezer. Put in fry pan and put lid on pan. Place on top of range burner. Fry on medium low for 15 minutes. Remove fry pan lid. Use pancake turner to turn hamburger over; sprinkle patty with salt and pepper. Put onion on top, if desired. Fry 10 minutes more without lid on.

Meanwhile, remove English muffin from freezer and toast. Remove ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce and relish from refrigerator. Pile desired amounts of each on 1/2 of English muffin. Put ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce and relish back in refrigerator. Retrieve cheese. Use thin knife to cut one piece of cheese and put cheese on top of browned hamburger. When cheese is melted, remove fry pan from heat and turn burner off. With the pancake turner, remove hamburger from fry pan and place on top of pile. Put cheese back in refrigerator. Put other 1/2 of English muffin on top of hamburger.
