CHEESY VEGETABLE CHOWDER 
1 1/2 c. cubed potatoes
1 1/2 c. broccoli florets
1 c. sliced carrots
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. water
1 3/4 c. milk
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Put potatoes, broccoli, carrots, pepper, onion, garlic and water in 3 quart bowl. Cover - microwave on high for 8-10 minutes, stirring once, until crisp tender. Add milk, beans and soup. Cover and microwave on high 6-8 minutes until vegetables are tender, stirring once. Stir in cheese and hot pepper sauce until cheese melts.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
