SOUR CREAM CORN BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sour cream
2 eggs
4 tbsp. bacon drippings

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

To above corn bread mixture stir in 1/2 cup cream style corn. Spoon 1/2 mixture into greased piping hot skillet and then spread with 1/2 cup grated cheese and 1/2 small can green chilies. Spread remaining half of mixture. Bake about 40 minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.
