GINGER PEAR MUFFINS 
1 med. pear
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. honey
1/3 c. molasses
1/4 c. oil
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray muffin tins with Pam.

Core pear and chop finely. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir together dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Blend wet ingredients and lemon peel in another bowl or blender. Stir wet into dry. Fold in pears. Do not over mix.
